Turquoise is one of the birthstones for December and has Mohs hardness of 5-6.

  • Care

Keep Kingman Turquoise away from perfume and other chemicals. Contact with oils on skin and cosmetics can discolor the turquoise. Over time, turquoise can change color from blue to green or from green to blue. To clean, use a damp cloth and lightly clean the dirty surface.

Never use an ultrasonic or steam cleaner. Silk strand necklaces should never be washed. Wetting the necklace can lead to stretching.
